- 1 tbsp onion powder

- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
How to make Fried Chicken
1. In a large bowl, you need to mix the chicken pieces and buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
2. In a separate big bowl, take flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper and mix them properly.
3. Heat enough vegetable oil in a deep skillet or Dutch oven to cover the chicken pieces. Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.
4. After that, take out the chicken pieces from the buttermilk and let the excess liquid cook off.
5. After that carefully put the chicken in the hot oil, be careful. Do not overcrowd the pan. Roast it well for 12-15 minutes, turning it, till it turns golden brown and cooked. Keep roasting it.
6. Then use a slotted spoon to lift the chicken out of the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
